Plants for Health foundation, Society for Medicinal Plant and Natural Product Research

The ResNet NPND project  

Mycetoma – perspectives of natural products from plants as leads to new therapeutics for the 18 th neglected tropical disease conducted by the groups of S.A. Khalid (Khartoum, Sudan) and T.J. Schmidt (Münster, Germany) was chosen to receive the first "Plants for Health" award and is thus generously supported for one year.

Apothekerstiftung Westfalen-Lippe (Germany).

Apothekerstiftung, the Pharmacists' foundation of Westfalen-Lippe region, generously supports a research project on "Constituents of Herbal Medicines as Leads to new Chemotherapeutics against Neglected Tropical Diseases. The project conducted by the  group of T. J. Schmidt in cooperation with Swiss TPH, Basle, and S. Khalid, Univ. of Khartoum, Sudan, is funded for a period of three years.
